Flyboyz Street Rod Designs has a solid history in the Southern Tier of Upstate New York. Formed in 1982
Flyboyz owner, Brian "Fly" Schuler, has long been recognized as a leader in the automotive interiors
sector.
Starting with upholstery, convertible tops and canvas work back in the early 80's Flyboyz focus shifted in early 1990 to antique &
classic car upholstery. It was in this time period they started manufacturing kit interiors for two well
known street rod companies producing kits for T-Buckets and 1940-41 Willy's. Throughout the next 10 years
the kits were produced while their love and reputation for custom interior work grew. In 2000 Flyboyz
cutover to almost exclusive custom work. The shop still does a handful of original interior restoration
projects each year but their main focus is customs and street rods.
Today Flyboyz works with several rod shops around the Northeast and to-date has completed over 350 cars.
Many of these cars have won Best Interior awards, including a 1950 Pontiac that won a Best Interior award
at the 2003
Detroit Autorama.
Three of our cars have received

We also did the upholstery in the 2001, 2003 and 2006

With a second generation, Brian Jr., joining the team three years ago, the shop should be putting out quality interiors for years to come.
